The arrest rate at the U.S. southern border has fallen to its lowest point since President Joe Biden took office. According to Fox News , arrests during the month of July fell below 60,000.
Official data from the Department of Homeland Security put the number of arrests at approximately 57,000. This marks significant progress for the Biden administration. However, it is difficult to determine whether the declining arrest rate reflects a broader decline in illegal immigration.
