Following decades of presidential administrations refusing to enforce our immigration laws, Americans are deeply concerned about the integrity of our immigration system. Most recently, the American people have been forced to endure years of executive branch officials proactively undermining immigration enforcement, enacting policies that encourage mass illegal immigration, and outright disregarding the laws duly enacted by Congress. Compounding this crisis, some state and local public officials – many of whom were empowered by the federal government’s own indifference to the rule of law – have been actively working to thwart enforcement of our immigration laws by instituting dangerous sanctuary policies and refusing to cooperate with federal authorities. The result is a great need throughout the U.S. for an advocate who stands with Americans impacted by mass migration and the failure to enforce existing laws.

That’s where IRLI comes in! IRLI uses public records laws to hold unscrupulous politicians accountable to the rule of law. IRLI further uses public records laws to educate the American public regarding the harmful impact of uncontrolled immigration on national security, jobs, education, health care, and our environment.

The following is a list of just some of the federal agencies with whom IRLI has filed Freedom of Information Act requests:

IRLI’s reports on the documents obtained have resulted in national media attention and public action to put a stop to the waste, fraud, abuse or dereliction of duty uncovered, making IRLI a national leader in immigration-related investigations.
