A restrictionist immigration group on Friday urged the Ninth Circuit to overturn an injunction against the Trump administration’s rule barring noncitizens who cross the border between ports of entry from obtaining asylum.
The Immigration Law Reform Institute, a subsidiary of the nonprofit Federation for American Immigration Reform, filed an amicus brief with the appeals court saying it should allow the rule to go into effect. Read the full story at Law360.
