California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Oct .18, pardoned three immigrant felons in an effort to protect them from being deported from the United States.
Newsom announced the pardons of three immigrants—Arnou Aghamalian from Iran, Thear Seam from Cambodia, and Victor Ayala from El Salvador—in order to erase their criminal records and help them avoid deportation back to their native countries. Read the full story at The BL.
